The Eagle track & field teams traveled to SVSU for their first meet of the season.  There were no team scores for the Division 3/4 meet, but the Eagles came away with their fair share of medals.  

Medaling for the boys were Daniel Smith (1st SP), Coleman Clark (4th 3200), Chase Wadle (7th, 3200), and Keaton DePue (7th, 800).  

Medaling for the girls were Sarah McCrackin (2nd, HJ), Allyson Stevens (3rd in HJ and 3rd 3200), Molly Dailey (4th 3200), Stella Klinger (5th, 800 and 8th in 400), Aoife O'Grady (8th 1600), and the 3rd place 4x600 relay of Sarah McCrackin, Molly Dailey, Christina Schafer, and Aoife O'Grady.

"For the first meet, we had some nice peformances.  Everyone did well and the coaches and I have told them this is your starting line....the finish line is a few months away and we will continue to work and get better.  I was really happy with how everyone competed today.  Most did not have PR's but they knew going in that this meet was essentially a scrimmage to see where we are at and can build on from here. It was a good day all around."

The next contest for the Eagles is at the St. Louis Relays on April 14th.
